Danish Estates: Nording Smooth Bent Brandy
Product Number: 004-001-6170
Nording is an artisan you should never try and pigeon hole. His talents can span from the more wildly organic modes of the Danish "Fancy" School, to neoclassical renditions - and everything in between. He's also very good at fluidly melding shapes into effortless hybrids, this piece an apparent perpetuation of the "Tulip" Brandy, and a form not too far removed from the Volcano. It's lovely, as you can see, with organic undercurrents coursing through the design, yet stabilized by squarely architectural shank.
