Danish Estates: Ben Wade Spiral Partially Sandblasted Bent Dublin

Product Number: 004-001-6245

The Danish made Ben Wade pipes were made by Preben Holm. There really was no difference between the Ben Wades and the Preben Holm stamped pipe; the Ben Wade brand came about because of a trademark dispute which meant that Preben could no longer sell pipes in the United States under his own name (talk about a 'buzz kill'). This is an impressive example, with excellent sandblasting covering the right half of the bowl, tons of flame grainy-goodness on the left, and a striking spiral shank.
