Danish Estates: Ben Wade Golden Walnut Freehand

Product Number: 004-001-6625

In 1971, Danish master carver Preben Holm formed Ben Wade in conjunction with Lane Ltd. due to an intellectual property dispute with his original distributor in the United States. All Ben Wade production was overseen by Preben and reflected the same aesthetic and technical qualities as Preben pipes sold under the Preben Holm hallmark. This pipe, at least to my mind, is what the more conservative Preben Freehands were all about.
