Danish Estates: Jess Chonowitsch Sandblasted Bent Brandy with Horn Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-11415

A study in full-bodied Danish shaping rendered on a petite scale, this bent Brandy was fashioned by none other than the venerable Jess Chonowitsch. Though certainly muscular of form, it boasts some sense of implied forward movement, as the gently canted bowl gives way to proportionally thick, yet gently-flicking shank and stem combination. As for the finish, it's a rich, warm sandblast highlighting loads of ring-grain, and complemented by a creamy horn mount at the shank's end. There's some rim darkening, and a few dings on the rim, but otherwise condition is very good. Highly recommended.
