For 2008, Stanwell opted for this sweeping, Scoop-like Volcano shape for their Christmas pipe, and what a fine piece it is. Finished here in a dark sandblast, the underside and rim have been dressed in a smooth, warm polish, making for quite an affable smoker. There's some rim darkening, not to mention some ripples on the inner rim, likely from knocking out dottle.
