Danish Estates: Brandt Smooth Acorn

Product Number: 004-001-15497

Hans Brandt often made pipes for the Pipe-Dan workshop, with Iwan Ries also having imported Brandt's pipes in the '70s. Offered here is a fetching, long-shanked, bent Acorn. The bowl is marked by a crisp, teardrop-like taper toward the heel, kicking out asymmetrically to the right. With a unique ridgeline around the transition, the bowl is visually separated from the shank. It's lightweight and comfortable of bend, and condition is still good, though there's some handling marks, light oxidation, minor rim darkening, and over buffing on the stem.
