Danish Estates: Celius Smooth Freehand with Horn (6645) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-001-15996
A lofty and smooth-lined Freehand, this Celius hews close to the Pickaxe design, with the large bowl tapering down toward a ridgelined heel that resembles a spur in profile. It offers a comfortable but considerable presence in hand, and of course quite a deep chamber, accented handsomely by an elegantly flared mount of genuine horn at the shank end and a stunning array of flame grain. Good condition too, with just some rim darkening, handling marks, and scraping in the chamber.
