Danish Estates: Tom Eltang Rusticated Arne Jacobsen with Horn

Product Number: 004-001-16201

"Less is more." This seeming contradiction epitomized one of the key principles adhered to by Danish architect, designer, and pipe smoker Arne Jacobsen within his approach to design. It's also one of the principles Arne adhered to when choosing his pipes, as this streamlined Stack Dublin from Tom Eltang can attest, it being based off of the pipe Jacobsen was often seen smoking himself. Never settling for a mere facsimile, Tom imparted his own aesthetic touches, however, rendering it quite trim of style — resulting in a streamlined, Danish Modern-influenced composition, and one primed for a healthy dose of Tom's own prickly rustication and a genuine horn accent. There's some mild rim darkening and a touch of carbonizing here, but condition is good otherwise.
