Danish Estates: Former Sandblasted Paneled Billiard

Product Number: 004-001-16419

Displaying his famed skill for both shaping and sandblasting, Hans "Former" Nielsen here presents us with a quite large, yet perfectly articulated paneled Billiard. The rippling grain is grooved and well defined across the stummel, and the combination of Danish lines — the upward-lifting heel and tapering, forward-inclined bowl, for example — and sharply-creased paneling, more often associated with English designs, make for an interesting, hybrid piece that's also able to sit sturdily upright on a desktop. Condition-wise, there is some minor rim darkening, mild chamber carbonizing, charring around the airway, and some tooth marks.
