Danish Estates: Stanwell Revival Smooth (168) (post-2010) (9mm)

Product Number: 004-001-16353

The "168" is a Freehand Stanwell shape called the "Golf," originally designed by Danish master Jess Chonowitsch. Featuring a rounded fore and aft, with subtle panels lent to either flank, and a high-set transition, it's quite a dynamic form in profile. That dynamism is all the more evident in this piece, given its completely smooth finish and trim metal accent band. The chamber is slightly uneven from reaming and there's some rim darkening, but condition otherwise is quite good.
