Danish Estates: Stanwell Royal Prince (146) (1970s-1990s)

Product Number: 004-001-16602

One part Horn, one part bent Dublin, Stanwell's "146" is one of my favorite designs from the marque. Originally designed by Jess Chonowitsch, it features a slightly domed rim, a soft taper down through the sweeping transition into a tapering, oval shank. The result is a remarkably graceful profile and a shape that feels right at home in the hand. This example is still in good condition, despite some rim darkening and an over buffed stem.
