Danish Estates: Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Pipe of the Year 2016 Smooth Bent Dublin with Horn (by Tom Eltang) (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-001-16428
This bent Dublin was designed by Tom Eltang for Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation's Pipe of the Year in 2016. It's an agile, forward-urging form that does well to exemplify Eltang's conventionally sleek style of Danish Functionalism-inspired smokers. The tilted orientation of the rim compared to the line of the bowl's flanks accentuates the piece's dynamic momentum, supported by the lithe bend of the elongated stem. It's dressed here in a honey-blonde contrast stain, the windswept grain echoing the profile's flow, and is accented with a trim ferrule of horn at the shank end. Unsmoked.-Truett Smith
