Danish Estates: Sara Eltang Sandblasted Lovat with Horn Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-16977

I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again: to me, few shapes better exude what it means to be a pipe than the Lovat shape — the lengthened shank emphasizing the use of briar while the saddle stem gives visual weight to the stummel overall. This Sara Eltang rendition here maintains those conventions but also offers a Danish flair. The slender, almost Egg-like bowl has been given a touch of extra height, and its rim has been left smooth and given a lighter stain, making for a nice contrast (something we're used to seeing from Tom). And last but not least, the shank's end features a lovely horn accent that adds some color diversity against the dark sandblasted finish.
