Danish Estates: Jarl Smooth Bent Brandy (889)

Product Number: 004-001-17195

Reminiscent of the Stanwell "70" shape by Sixten Ivarsson, this Jarl Brandy/Volcano presents a firmly-based bowl from which a low transition to the shank extends to a softly downturned saddle stem. Jarl pipes were made by Niels Mogens Jørgensen in Kolding, Denmark. Or they were made by Jarl Chieftan, who worked under Sixten for two years. Or they were Stanwell seconds. We don't know for certain, but those are the possibilities. What's undeniable is that this Brandy is a fine pipe that's steeped in the Danish tradition.
