Danish Estates: Nording Partially Sandblasted Bent Dublin
Product Number: 004-001-17245
Though this bent Dublin noticeably forgoes Erik Nording's signature use of fluting channels and flourishing ridges, its finish is enough to garner any pipesmoker's attention. A crisp sandblast adorns the majority of the stummel and has brought out a remarkable array of rippling ring grain across the bowl's fore. Smooth briar along the flanks and underneath the shank contribute some excellent textural diversity to the composition and have been stained a deep, ruby stain. And if that weren't enough, this piece even sits stably on flat surfaces, making it an ideal choice for anyone searching for a desk top with plenty of character.- Jeffery Sitts
