Danish Estates: Ben Wade Martinique Freehand Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-17733

Though Ben Wade's history dates to 1870s England, a century later saw Ben Wade pipes made by Preben Holm, exuding a similar Danish Fancy style. Here is one such piece, displaying the flourishing lines and bold proportions of that aesthetic. The outer edge of the wide, asymmetric rim is lined with plateau while the flattened heel enables this piece to sit sturdily. An impressive array of grain wraps around the bowl with the shaping of the stem base adding a whimsical, flourishing touch to the piece's profile.
