Danish Estates: Ingo Garbe Smooth Bent Brandy

Product Number: 004-001-18002

Ingo Garbe never uses texturing techniques such as sandblasting or rustication for his pipes, preferring the smooth finish that characterizes his presentations. This bent Brandy offers a plump heel that tapers dramatically to the flat rim, highlighting excellent vertical grain all around the bowl. The cheeking is tightly precise, maintaining the independent curvature of the bowl while the shank rises and curves to the tapered mouthpiece, which offers a complementary inverse downturn. The shank-and-stem combination are in slender form, drifting away from the dramatic bowl and uniting the composition without detracting from the irresistible nature of the bowl.
