Danish Estates: Peter Heding Sandblasted Apple with Boxwood
Product Number: 004-001-18695
A lovely example of Peter Heding's Danish style, this bent Apple is full of soft lines and supple curves conventional of the Danes' school of shaping. The bowl exhibits a high, bulging waistline and slight cant, accentuating the piece's urging sense of forward momentum. With a smooth, walnut stained rim to match the boxwood wedding band at the shank-end, the two accents contrast against the stummel's dark stain and gentle sandblast for a lovely, ergonomic feel in hand.-Truett Smith
