Danish Estates: Jobey Dansk Smooth Freehand (4) (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-001-19189
The Danish Fancy Freehand style was incredibly popular during the 1960s and '70s and still boasts quite a dedicated following. This Jobey Dansk Freehand is an excellent example, featuring craggy plateau along the flaring shank face and the undulating rim. A stunning array of flame grain is displayed across the bowl's surface, rising from the pointed heel spur and engulfing the bowl's flanks. Another spur underneath the shank adds to the piece's distinctive profile while the vulcanite stem offers a series of expansion rings for additional visual interest. It's presented here in unsmoked condition.- Jeffery Sitts
