Danish Estates: Ben Wade Golden Walnut Freehand (100) (Unsmoked)

Product Number: 004-001-19217

With a trumpeting rim and a whole lot of plateau up top, this bent Freehand from Ben Wade is a fine example of the Danish "Fancy" style of Freehand, which remains decently popular today, and with fine reason. The bowl is particularly concise at the heel, imbuing the bowl with a flaring attitude as it reaches upward, and the end of the shank echoes the plateau of the rim for some visual symmetry in an asymmetrical shape.
