Danish Estates: Karl Erik Smooth Freehand (5)

Product Number: 004-001-19252

Karl Erik Ottendahl ran a workshop that employed up to fifteen craftsmen, some of whom, like Peder Jeppesen of Neerup, went on to successfully launch their own individual brands. This particular offering is a substantial Freehand with an Egg-like shape to its canted bowl paired to a low-set transition that accentuates the bowl's prominence. Dimpled plateau adorns the rim and dramatically flaring shank face, imbuing the composition with a touch of organicism.
