Danish Estates: Karl Erik Smooth Bent Brandy (2SM)
Product Number: 004-001-19636
Karl Erik Ottendahl ran a workshop that employed up to fifteen craftsmen, some of whom, like Peder Jeppesen of Neerup, went on to successfully launch their own individual brands. This particular offering is a lithely bent Brandy, with the plump bowl's forward cant balanced by saddle stem's gentle downturn. Said bowl tapers from its broad, lifted heel up toward the slightly concave rim while an array of handsome grain covers the flanks underneath the warm stain.- Jeffery Sitts
