Danish Estates: Peter Stokkebye Smooth Bent Brandy (H)

Product Number: 004-001-19551

Fashioned by artisan carver Jørgen Larsen, Peter Stokkebye pipes reflect quality engineering and tasteful style. Unfortunately, they're now only available on the estate market, Larsen having since retired from pipe making. This bent Brandy is an excellent example of the Danish carver's style and exemplifies the aesthetic found in many of the bent pipes he made for Stokkebye. The gesture is lithe and dynamic, the shank and stem extremely sleek and fluid, with the bowl seeming to inflate from out of the transition. Voluptuous and broad-heeled, it's comfortably cradled in the palm, and the flame grain covering the bowl conforms beautifully to the tapered, forward-leaning shaping.
