Treading a fine line between playfulness and elegance, this handmade piece from Peter Stokkebye features a stout-walled and remarkably robust Dublin bowl paired to a straight, comparatively lean style of shank and followed by a tapered mouthpiece with just the slightest discernible downward turn to the bit. The bowl introduces some subtle asymmetry and is most evident when viewed from an aerial perspective. Aside from the impressive shaping, this piece is also rife with lovely flame grain with the pale accent offering some understated contrast.
