Danish Estates: Former Rusticated Apple Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-001-20947
There are some artisans who make a certain rendition of a shape so many times that the design becomes known as "theirs" across the industry. Tom Eltang has his rusticated Poker, for example. Hans "Former" Nielsen has this rusticated Apple. Designed to be a workhorse of a pipe — sturdy, lightweight, and rugged — this is the pipe you'll often see between Nielsen's teeth as he's carefully crafting in his workshop. Wearing a dark stain and a coiled rustication style, it hides any scratches you might pick up along the way while also offering a delightfully stimulating texture in hand. Accented simply with smooth polished briar at the chamfered rim and slightly tapered shank end, it's a thoroughly Danish-style piece, imbued with Former's master-class engineering.
