This is a striking Churchwarden rendition from Bjarne, the stem here extending the length of this piece to more than 11 inches while being possessed of only the faintest curve. What's more impressive, is that the taper of this stem continues one that's present at the shank, creating a wonderfully aerodynamic look that's extremely elegant and, despite its length, still maintains a focus on the bowl. Said bowl is a squat Pot that holds a rather capacious chamber within its thick, insulating walls, and these walls additionally showcase a warm mahogany stain that reveals handsome grain throughout.
