The Extra series from Erik Nording tends to gravitate more towards traditionally inclined shapes and is primarily characterized by its use of exotic hardwood accents that are frequently paired to vibrant acrylic stems. This bent Dublin is a more understated example, with a well-grained hardwood accent band adorning the shank end while the acrylic stem is a classic, jet-black color. The stummel's finished in a warm matte stain that highlights the beautiful grain that surrounds the bowl's flanks with fine tendrils flowing upward to the plateau-crowned rim.
