This Acorn from Kriswill features the form's characteristic flared rim and gradual downward taper, but it lacks the pronounced heel typically associated with the shape. The bowl cants gentle forward at the fore of the composition while the shank-and-stem arrangement curls out back and takes on a checkmark-like posture. A smoky, walnut-hued smooth finish dresses the stummel and showcases some dazzling whorls of birdseye across one flank of the bowl.
