Danish Estates: Stanwell Handmade Smooth (97) (1970s-1990s) Tobacco Pipe

A no nonsense, no frills piece of Danish craftsmanship, this Stanwell "97" is a lovely rendition of the classic Liverpool shape. The added length to the shank lends a sense of sleekness to the profile and provides more canvas on which to showcase some extra grain, on top of that offered up by the tall bowl at the fore. It's been finished in a warm, mahogany smooth finish that reveals flame grain along the shank and mixed grain around the bowl, its coloration classic and timeless.
