Handcrafted by Johannes Hoffman, this piece features framed facets across the tall, forward-ebbing bowl, which still manages a rather rounded demeanor and taper to the sloping rim. Those panels continue through the upwardly curling shank and stem base, providing textural diversity in this otherwise smooth, auburn-stained pipe. The finish highlights some lovely grain, including wispy flames and birdseye, while the downturned mouthpiece promotes a comfortable smoking posture in this lightweight piece.
