Danish Estates: Stanwell Royal Prince (177) (1970s-1990s) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-32775

A sleek Lumberman rendition, this Stanwell "177" was originally designed by Tom Eltang and comes to us from between the 1970s and 1990s. The ovoid stretch of shank is slightly extended and compressed, meeting a trim saddle stem with a slight step down into its bit, making for a combination that's slightly subdued in the face of the bowl, but still draws the eye. Said bowl takes on a slight bit of taper from its rounded heel to the rim, and its curves make for a comfortable fit in the hand, especially given the wide transition's acceptance of a digit. Dressing this piece is a warm auburn-mahogany stain that reveals some handsome grain and fosters a classic aesthetic, sure to appeal to lovers of timeless Danish design.
