Danish Estates: Peter Stokkebye Smooth Freehand (I) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-001-32748
Jørgen Larsen was the Danish artisan behind Peter Stokkebye pipes until he developed an allergy to briar dust and had to retire. This Freehand features a domed rim subtly wrapped by a softened ridgeline, while the bowl below tapers gradually to a flattened base, enabling the pipe to sit sturdily. The rounded shank meets an elegantly tapered stem out back, with a trim white band at the junction lending a fetching accent. A vibrant auburn stain covers the stummel, which is resplendent in packed birdseye along the rim with the flanks engulfed in stunning flame grain, the pipe showing beautiful grain from all viewing perspectives.
