Danish Estates: Lasse Skovgaard Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Oak Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-001-32809
This bent Dublin is a striking, organic interpretation of the form, its robust demeanor emboldened by a flaring asymmetrical rim, the edges by the aft curling upward. Defined by a dramatized, wrapping ridgeline, said rim tops the tapered remainder, while the gestural, rather elongated shank is enhanced by an oak accent. It's all topped by a dark saddle stem of vulcanite, complementing the rustic sandblast. This piece by the Danish carver is rife with gorgeous grain with a stunning array of growth rings gracing both bowl and shank.-Angela Robertson
