Danish Estates: Ben Wade Golden Walnut Freehand Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-001-32972
Made for Ben Wade by Preben Holm's workshop, this Freehand is a muscular piece, perfect for long smoking sessions. A stout bowl dominates the fore of the composition, boasting a more than generous chamber to fill with favored blends. The rim is partially left in its natural plateau state, giving the pipe plenty of eye-catching contrast. The bowl's walls taper down to a flat heel and elongated transition into its paneled shank, with a section of plateau that matches the rim. A bent vulcanite stem finishes the composition, heightened by two expansion rings that balance the silhouette. Dressed in a rich orange stain, the stummel features intermingled straight and flame grain, making this pipe truly impressive.
