Danish Estates: Neerup Smooth Bent Brandy (3) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-32953

This bent Brandy from Neerup is a Lovat-like interpretation of the classic Danish shape. The bowl displays a strong forward cant accentuated by its upward tapered rim and plump midriff. The typically Danish heel is raised to the soft ridgeline that wraps around the bowl and cheeked transition, filling the palm and pleasing the eye. The slightly upturned round shank is quite muscular in proportion to the rest of the bowl, flaring a bit where it meets an acrylic and metal double accent. The matching acrylic saddle stem is abbreviated and bent, creating a final flourish to top off the dynamic shaping on display. The stummel is dressed in a glossy orange finish, revealing swirling grain around the bowl and shank.
