This bent Apple from Winslow features a plump, rotund bowl that conforms naturally to the hand and rises proudly at the fore of a straight shank and a demurely curved tapered mouthpiece. While the majority of the stummel is dressed in an auburn smooth finish, showcasing a wealth of flame grain about the bowl, the heel and underside of the shank are dressed in a crisp rustication, providing a bit of tactile contrast to the overall form.
