Danish Estates: Benner Rusticated Billiard with Silver Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-33165

This straight Billiard was made by Brent "Benner" Nielsen, making it something of an uncommon find, given the relatively small number of these pieces we see from Nielsen. The shaping is quite classic as a whole, with a consistently wide shank ebbing out of a wide transition that leaves plenty of room to drape a digit. This meets a sleek, tapered stem at a junction that's marked by a broad band of silver, lending a touch of elegance and contrasting handsomely against the naturally-hued rustication that dresses the stummel. Up front, the bowl is comparatively tall and its gently tapering walls feature plenty of area to showcase the texture of that rustication.
