This bent Bulldog by Leo Borgart is a fine example of the Danish artisan's sleek, angular style. The bowl displays a tapered rim delineated by twin beadlines, paired to an understated heel that sweeps back into a curved diamond shank. A bent vulcanite saddle stem completes the ensemble, accented with a slim hardwood band that wraps asymmetrically around the stem. Dressed in a rich walnut stain, the stummel boasts fine birdseye and flame grain, perfectly oriented on either side of the bowl's beadlines.
