Danish Estates: Erik Nielsen Smooth Bent Dublin (A) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-001-33375
Danish artisan Erik Nielsen came to pipe making through an accident that forced him to leave his position with the Danish Railroad, allowing him to devote himself to a new calling and study the craft with Kurt Balleby. Now, with decades of experience, Nielsen is a master in his own right. This bent Dublin is a fine example of Nielsen's style, featuring a flared bowl with a broad, domed rim at the fore of a sleek round shank. Out back, a bent vulcanite saddle stem offers a comfortable smoking posture. Dressed in a rich auburn finish, the stummel boasts fine flame grain around the bowl, with dense birdseye along the rim and heel, making this piece a fine addition to any rotation.
