This crisp, angular bent Dublin from Peter Stokkebye is sleek piece that places its emphasis on the bowl. Said bowl features a sharp downward taper from its broad, slightly domed rim, and rests on a flat heel at the fore of a pinched transition to a lengthy oval shank that maintains a slim, lithe profile. Out back, a downturned vulcanite stem offers a comfortable smoking posture. Dressed in a rich, dark auburn finish, the stummel displays fine flame grain around the bowl, with tight swirls of birdseye at the rim and heel.
