Danish Estates: Stanwell Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Bamboo (1970s-1990) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-33460

This vintage bent Dublin from Stanwell strikes a gestural pose, enabled by its lifted heel and slanted rim. The trim shank-and-stem combination accentuates the bowl's momentum, their demure proportions bolstering its posture with sleek, elegant lines. Two knuckles of bamboo extend the shank, adding an organic note to the fluid profile, while the sharp heel is driven downward by the lift of the shank and active posture of the bowl. The knuckles of the bamboo are equidistant from the transition and shoulders of the saddle stem as they are from each other, creating a consistent rhythm across the shank that ends in a subtle downturn at the stem. Dressed in a crisp black sandblast, this pipe showcases some incredibly well-developed ring grain across the bowl, leading to a rim crowned in organic plateau.
