This "34" from North Dane Pipes, a sub-brand of Georg Jensen, is a handsome rendition of the classic bent Billiard. This piece boasts a curvaceous shank-and-stem arrangement, one that encourages a comfortable smoking posture and lends a sweeping gesture to the shape's silhouette. The tall, stocky bowl tapers from its wide, plump base to its taut rim, and as it does, it produces a low-set waistline that conforms naturally to the hand. A warm auburn finish dresses the stummel and highlights some striking grain across the flanks of the bowl.
