Danish Estates: Winslow Ekstra Rusticated Bent Apple (E) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-34061

Poul Winslow served as the head assistant to Preben Holm before deciding to go into business for himself in the mid-1980s. Winslow crafts gestural and organic shapes that usually feature vibrant colors. This bent Apple by Winslow centers around its plump bowl, which is dressed in a rugged, red-stained rustication and a warm smooth finish on the rim. A stubby shank serves to increase emphasis on the bowl, but includes a variety of colors in its small area, featuring a smooth briar ring, a metallic band, a ring of creamy orange acrylic, and a cylinder of jet-black vulcanite extruded from the bent saddle stem, adding Winslow's trademark colorful intrigue to the stummel's red stain.
