Danish Estates: W.O. Larsen Smooth Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-33852

The W.Ø. Larsen shop is intricately intertwined with some of the world's most prestigious Danish artisans — Sixten Ivarsson, Poul Rasmussen, Svend Bang, Teddy Knudsen, Tonni Nielsen, Jess Chonowitsch, and Hans "Former" Nielsen — these legends having either worked in some capacity for Larsen or having had their pipes retailed at the store. Among those that apprenticed in the workshop, Teddy Knudsen, Tonni Nielsen, Jess Chonowitsch, Peter Hedegaard, and others were responsible for fashioning pipes of the Select and Straight Grain series. One such piece is presented here in the form of a sleek bent Dublin, featuring a flared, tapered bowl at rest on a jutting at the fore of a slim oval shank. Out back, a bent saddle stem of black vulcanite offers an easy clench. Dressed in a deep walnut finish, the stummel boasts fine flame grain around the bowl, with dense birdseye at the rim and heel.
