Danish Estates: Knute Smooth Freehand Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-34041

Knute pipes were made by Karl Erik Ottendahl's workshop, which focused on making stylish Danish Freehands for an accessible price. This Freehand by Knute features a bent shank and bowl that form a V-shape in profile, which showcase lean strands of vertical grain on the left of the stummel and swaths of birdseye on the right. The bowl flares to an asymmetrical rim that slices through the bowl at a 45 degree angle, exposing rugged plateau, which also makes an appearance at the end of the shank.
