Danish Estates: Emil Chonowitsch Smooth Billiard (26) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-34130

Emil Chonowitsch, a Danish tobacconist, learned pipe making from Poul Rasmussen in the Suhr pipe repair shop. Like Poul, Emil focused on classic shapes, and since his passing 1996, he's left behind a portfolio full of traditional shapes, as well as a pipe making legacy now continued and furthered considerably by his son Jess. Presented here is a classically inclined Billiard with a tall bowl that stands proud at the fore of a slim round shank ably reflecting Emil's talents with shape chart standards. This is a piece of artisan pipe making history and would certainly be a welcomed addition to any collection.
