Danish Estates: Bijou Sandblasted Potato Sack Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-34448

Originally designed by Sixten Ivarsson for Stanwell, this Potato Sack is a unique shape, with an Acorn-like bowl that tapers gradually from the rim to a pronounced heel that extends past the transition. The bowl possesses a compressed aesthetic that gives the bowl its distinctive, semi-rectangular shape that resembles its namesake. The slender shank-and-stem combination extends out of the tight-knit transition, adding a willowy note to the pipe's profile, as the saddle stem arcs for a comfortable smoking posture. The stummel wears a dark, low-profile sandblast that harmonizes well with the jet-black of the vulcanite stem.
