Danish Estates: Bari Select Nature Old Briar Flame Grain Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-001-34364
Bari was founded by Viggo Nielsen in 1950. His sons, Kai and Jørgen Nielsen, now famous Danish pipe makers, sharpened their skills at the workshop. This Billiard by Bari presents an elongated version of the shape's traditional proportions. The towering bowl provides an ample canvas to display long strands of vertical grain and houses a capacious chamber. The shank is as long as the bowl is tall, but the stem is a little undersized for the extended proportions, much like the Liverpool shape. Additionally, the jet-black stem makes a fine complement to the chestnut smooth finish on the stummel, giving this pipe a traditional appeal.--Zach Podl
