Danish Estates: Winslow Smooth Bent Dublin with Silver (B) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-34991

A former apprentice of the late Preben Holm, Poul Winslow has carved pipes since 1969, becoming one the most important names in contemporary Danish style. This piece is a robust and classically inclined bent Dublin, featuring a domed rim atop straight sturdy walls, the bowl rests at the fore of an upturned round shank accented with a broad silver band at its conjunction with a comfortably bent acrylic stem. The sleek curve of the shank and stem make this pipe an easy clencher with a dose of forward momentum. Dressed in a rich auburn stain, the stummel boasts excellent straight and flame grain around the bowl, with touches of swirling birdseye at the rim and heel.
