Danish Estates: Preben Holm Fancy Sandblasted Freehand Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-001-35166

Preben Holm started carving pipes as a teenager, and first sold his works to the legendary Pipe-Dan shop at 15-years-old. By 22, Holm was running his own workshop and employed 45 artisans. Holm is famous for popularizing the Danish Fancy Freehand style, which became especially beloved by American pipe-smokers. Sadly, Holm passed away in 1989 at the age of 42, and although he left behind a shorter legacy than most, it's one that few can match. This Freehand is a handsome example of Preben Holm's signature style, and it is dressed in a striking, partially sandblasted finish.
